This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a weekly round-up in which I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days? Stay safe, everyone!!

THEN: I finished The Sentence is Death by Anthony Horowitz, which was quite a fun mystery. I'd read the previous one in the series and the style of writing is very engaging. The story was fine, but it's really all about the characters, which are great. Recommended!

NOW: I just started The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell. Her books are usually very entertaining (and we all need that right now, don't we?) and so far, I'm enjoying this one, too.

NEXT: I've been avoiding series for a while now, but am in the mood for some literary tourism and am contemplating starting Ian Rankin's Rebus series. Edinburgh is one of my favorite places, and they are set there. Have you read them? What did you think?
