This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a weekly round-up hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

THEN: I finished Good Girl, Bad Girl by Michael Robotham. It was entertaining enough, though not especially original. Maybe I just read too much crime fiction, though;-) I did like the protagonist and the way the characters were developed, though I felt the story in itself was a little predictable and slower than I expected.

NOW: Currently, I am reading Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger. I wanted to read his new book, This Tender Land, but it starts by the author discussing this one, so I thought I'd read it first. I really like it so far. It has a different pace than I am used to, but the author is so good at developing his characters!

NEXT: I think I will read Lisa Jewell's latest, The Family Upstairs next. I am rarely disappointed in her books and this one was been getting some great reviews! Have you read it or her other books? What did you think?
