This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a weekly round-up hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

THEN: I finished The Whisper Man by Alex North. It was definitely a creepy, gripping read, though a bit slower than I anticipated and I also guessed the killer. That being said, I'll definitely keep an eye on this author for the future, he can craft quite the atmospheric tale. You can find my full review here.

NOW: Currently, I am reading Mortality by Christopher Hitchens. As you might have guessed, it's not a chipper read, but it is very moving and eloquent. It makes me want to read his memoir, Hitch 22 as well.

NEXT: I think I might read Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig next. I've read a few of his books and liked them all, and just got a copy of this one from the library (along with an alarming stack of other ones...) Have you read it? What did you think?
