This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a weekly round-up hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

THEN: I finished The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth. It took me an unusually long time to read it, but it wasn't bad or boring. The style reminded me a little of Liane Moriarty, though it was, perhaps, less witty and humorous. All the same, I enjoyed the book and would read more by the author in the future. You can find my full review here.

NOW: I am finishing Stay Sexy and Don't Get Murdered by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. I heard good things about this book and though it's entertaining, I'm not finding it to be as engaging as I hoped it would be. I find the authors to be a little irritating, which is obviously a personal thing and many other readers will feel quite differently. We'll see how it wraps up. Review to come!

NEXT: I want to read Tan France's book, Naturally Tan, next. I sounds like the perfect summer read and he's probably my favorite of the Fab Five. Have you read it? Watch the show?
