Link Love

It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. There are quite a few links I found interesting and worth sharing this week. I hope you find something here you enjoy. Happy reading!

It's hard to believe we're already into February, isn't it? This year has an exciting line-up of new books coming out, and The Guardian has rounded up something for everyone. I am really looking forward to Black leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James and Machines Like Me by Ian McEwan.

This week, there was a lot of buzz around a profile in The New Yorker on writer Dan Mallory, a.k.a. A.J. Finn. It paints a disturbing portrait of the author and makes for an interesting read. It doesn't take away from the fact that I enjoyed The Woman in the Window, but I am the sort of reader who has a hard time separating what I know of an author/artist from their work. I can't even pick up an Anne Perry book since knowing her backstory.

CrimeReads can always be relied upon to provide an intriguing list of mystery recommendations and this one is no exception. Here, author Michelle Frances, discusses some of the best workplace thrillers.

Finally, an just in time for the weekend, here are a few of the best books on idleness;-)
