Link Love


It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. There are quite a few links I found interesting and worth sharing this week. I hope you find something here you enjoy. Happy reading!

This book of 15 books to read in 2019 is a little more manageable than others I have come across with offers in the hundreds! I am especially interested in reading Black Leopard Read Wolf by Marlon James and Gingerbread by Helen Oyeyemi.

Bookriot has compiled a list of "life changing" books. While I agree with some, which are deeply moving and memorable, others left me cold. Which books would you add to the list? I might add The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay - for the message of hope and resilience, Grimm's Fairy-tales and the Harry Potter books by JK Rowling - to foster the imagination, Maus by Art Spiegelman and Night by Elie Wiesel - to remind us of the past, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - for girl power! I could go on and on...
