This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a weekly meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

THEN: I finished Radical by Maajid Nawaz. It was a really fascinating if disturbing read about how a man involved in radical Islamism completely changed his system of belief to become a champion of reversing extremism. Recommended!
I also finished The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Quite the page tuner! It's only published din February, so I will post my review closer to the release date, but if you're a fan of clever psychological thrillers, you have something to look forward to:-)

NOW: I've almost finished John Boyne's The Heart's Invisible Furies and am happy to report, the hype was well deserved. It's a wonderful book with great depth and beautiful writing. A great book with which to begin this year. Look for a review to come soon!

NEXT: I think I will read something a little different next, the graphic novel Illegal by Eoin Colfer. I've been dipping my toe into this genre and have heard good things about Illegal. Have you read it?
