Link Love

It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. There are quite a few links I found interesting and worth sharing this week. I hope you find something here you enjoy. Happy reading!

There a lots of books I am looking forward to reading this year (you can find my round-up here), and The Literary Hub features quite a few of these titles on their list of most anticipated books. I am especially interested in reading The Paragon Hotel by Lyndsay Faye, Andèle by Leila Slimani and Golden Child by Claire Adam.

The BBC offers a rather more expansive list of the 100 stories that shaped our world. It encompasses mythology, general fiction, children's books, classics and everything in between. It's interesting to look at the list, because even though I have certainly not read all of the books and stories it contains, I am familiar with the stories of most, so in one way or another, they are present in our culture and society, even when we don't spend the time to read them. Do you agree?

The Guardian published their list of best reviewed thrillers. As a fan of all crime fiction, I am always looking for recommendations and am indeed looking forward to reading Lizzy Barber's My name is Anna.
