Link Love

It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. There are quite a few links I found interesting and worth sharing this week. I hope you find something here you enjoy. Happy reading!
Let's start this week's roundup with a list. The New York Times has a whopper of one, with 100 Notable Books of 2018. Among the books featured are some I enjoyed, but many I would have deemed pretentious and unappealing as well.
The Guardian offers up a different kind of list with some rather under the radar literary classics. I have to admit, i haven't read any of them (yet)!?
The New Yorker published an interview with celebrated author Rachel Cusk, in which she makes a few quite controversial points, such as saying character doesn't exist anymore, a point with which I rather disagree, and a point which probably explains why her writing has never appealed to me. What do you think?
