Link Love

It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. There are quite a few links I found interesting and worth sharing this week. I hope you find something here you enjoy. Happy reading!T
To start this week's round-up, I came across this thoughtful article from The Guardian, discussing the value of libraries for communities and individuals.
It's Banned Books Week and Bookriot has rustled up a quiz to test whether you can guess the banned book by its challenge. I was terrible!
The Lit Hub features some of the best book covers of the month this week. It's interesting to see what sort of covers appeal to some readers and how they compare to the covers that draw me in. Let's face it, we've all judged a book by its cover , and I may be guilty of buying some purely based on how pretty they look;-)
I enjoyed this NY Times article about a German bookshop which started to lure in more customers by selling bread and sausages!
Finally, lets end with a list and this is a good one. Author Anna Lee Huber rounds up some of the best female-driven historical mysteries. As an author who writes in this genre, I often like to read books in a similar vein. Rhys Bowen, Kate Quinn and Elizabeth Wein are favorites I can definitely recommend!
