This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a weekly meme created by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

THEN: I finished reading Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pitcher this weekend. It was my first book by this author, and strange though it was, I thought it was clever and engaging. If you want to read my full review, you can find it here.

NOW: Currently, I am about halfway through The Other Woman by David Silva, book eighteen in the Gabriel Allon Series. I've read all of them, and he does have a formula and is guilty of repetition, which is not to say I'm not enjoying it. If I go back to an author for this many books, the formula must be working! Have you read any of them? Do you like spy thrillers?

NEXT: Finally, I am excited and a little nervous to read The Day of the Dead by Nicci French, the final book in the Frieda Klein Series. As readers of this series know, we've been through quite a lot with the characters and it's bittersweet to see the series come to an end. That being said, I've heard good things about this book and hope it lives up to expectations!
