This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a fun meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

THEN: I finished reading The Innocent Wife by Amy Lloyd, though I should say I finished the audiobook, which possibly is the reason I gave the book only three stars. Narration can make some books really come alive and add to the story, but in this case, I felt it might have detracted from the book's merits. Not terrible, yet not as gripping as I had hoped. You can find my short review here.

NOW: I am on a bit of a Shalini Boland kick at the moment, and The Best Friend is my current read. Her books are always fast paced with engaging protagonists and twisty mysteries. I would definitely recommend them to fans of the genre!

NEXT: I have been reading so much crime fiction lately, I think I might need to break up this run with something else. I have heard a lot of good about Digging In by Loretta Nyhan and plan to read it next.
Have you read any of these books? What did you think?
