This Week in Books

This Week in Books is a fun meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?

Then: I finished Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney, and it was quite a strange and twisted story! You can read my review here.

Now: Currently, I am reading the twelfth book in the John Wells series, The Deceivers by Alex Berenson. As always, Berenson plays with current events, and I have to say, it would be wonderful if we had a capable fellow like John Wells to pull us out of the mess we are in... This series generally delivers fast-paced writing, and clever plots above par when compared to your run-of-the-mill thrillers. Recommended!

Next: I plan on reading Tyler Johnson Was Here by Jay Coles next. This was recommended to me after I said I liked The Hate U Give and Dear Martin, and since it is based on the author's experience, I am sure it will be an emotional read.
Have you read any of these books? What did you think and what are you reading these days?
