Link Love

It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. Happy reading!
I found a Buzzfeed quiz that tells you which Jane Austen heroine you are. I got Jane Bennet and am not mad about it:-)
There has been quite a stir over a number of authors accused of sexual harassment recently, and one of them is Daniel Handler a.k.a. Lemony Snicket. He has reportedly and repeatedly made racist and sexist comments to fellow authors and the fact that these have now been made public draws a shadow over his beloved series of books and the Netflix series based on them. I was never a reader nor a fan of the books, but they clearly have a wide following. It will be interesting to see whether the publishing world will exact consequences for Handler's behavior and whether readers will respond in kind.
As a fan of Big Little Lies and Gone Girl, I definitely have faith in Reese Witherspoon's ability to pick some good books and adapt them well. The people at Bookriot evidently feel the same way, and came up with this list of books they wish she would take on. Which ones would you like to see adapted (not just by Witherspoon)? I would really like to see how someone would approach turning Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi into a film or series.
Speaking of adaptations, The Literay Hub just published a list of the films and series based on books which their authors loathed. I was surprised to learn that Truman Capote didn't like Breakfast at Tiffany's.
