Link Love

It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week. If you are in the US, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and can use the long weekend to relax and maybe even catch up on your to-read list:-)

Happy reading!

To start this week's post off right, here is a list of the winners of the Goodreads Choice Awards. I have to say, I was a little disappointed with the results, though they were fairly predictable. What do you think? Did any of your favorites make the cut?

It's no secret I love mysteries, and this list of new crime fiction on Bookish is threatening to overwhelm my to-read list. I am especially excited to get my hands on a copy of The Wife Between Us.

The Guardian published an interesting article about books writers wish they could give their younger selves. I have to say, some of these choices are rather cerebral and I wonder whether their younger selves would have been able to appreciate these recommendations, or, frankly, if they are a little conceited in choosing them... What do you think?

Finally, though there are lost of list claiming to name the best titles of this year, the mother of them all seems to have been created by NPR. They have amassed a colossal list of 350 favorite reads of 2017. There is something for everyone, I am sure. I would recommend The Alice Network by Kate Quinn, The Dry by Jane Harper, What Happened by Hillary Rodham Clinton, Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman and many more.
