Link Love

“Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.” ― Groucho Marx, The Essential Groucho: Writings For By And About Groucho Marx
It's Friday, which means it's time for Link Love, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blogs from the past week.
Happy reading!
Have you ever been in a reading slump, where every book you start just falls flat? Bookriot has created a little list of some reads sure to grab your attention. I can especially recommend And Then There Were None.
On Huffington Post I found this interesting article about the history and formation of the English language. As a lover of language, I have already put The Accidental Dictionary in my shopping cart.
Over at Bookish, I came across Writers Recommend, where a number of well known authors offer their reading recommendations.
Did you read The Martian by Andy Weir? I succumbed to the hype and in the case of this book, it was worth it. Now he is releasing his second book Artemis and Goodreads has a little interview with the author fans will surely enjoy.
