Link Love

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.” ― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

It's time for Link Love again, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles and blog posts I found this week.

Let's start this week with a little quiz. Bookriot offered readers to find out who their Austenian love would be, and though Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, I was happy not to be matched with the broody Mr. Darcy and got (the vastly underrated) Henry Tilney from Northanger Abbey! Who was your match?

One of my favorite things is a good list and the Guardian published one with their favorite female detectives. Naturally, I would like to see my own fictional creation, Lady Evelyn to the ranks, who would you add?

The Man Booker Prize Longlist has been announced! I have read a few of the books on the list and was, unfortnately not blown away by any of them. I still want to read Swing Time by Zadie Smith and Colson Whitehead's The Underground Railroad, so hopefully they will live up to expectations. Have you read any of the nominees?

Last but not least, this isn't an article or a blog post, but I had to share this chance from PageHabit to win a $500 gift certificate to Bookoutlet.com

Good luck!
