This Week in Books
This Week in Books is hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found! In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future.
THEN: A Mother's Confession by Kelly Rimmer really surprised me. It was much deeper and more provocative than I anticipated, and definitely made me want to read more my this author. You can find my review here.
NOW: I just started reading Liane Moriarty's Truly Madly Guiltily. I've read everything Moriarty has written, and though Big Little Lies and What Alice Forgot are my favorites, I have enjoyed them all. I don't really know why I left it this long to read her latest book, but after watching the Big Little Lies TV show, my interest was piqued again, and I finally picked it out of my shelf.
LATER: My Lady Jane is a different, humorous take on the story of Lady Jane Grey, who is about to be married off to the King of England. It has high ratings and has been compared to The Princess Bride (lofty praise indeed, as this is one of my favorites - if you haven't read it, do!). I am curious to see how it lives up to my high expectations.
Have you read any of these books yet? What are you reading this week?
