Summer Reading Recommendations!

“One benefit of Summer was that each day we had more light to read by.” ― Jeannette Walls, The Glass Castle
Summer is almost upon us (though the coat I had to wear today would suggest otherwise) and we all know summer is possibly the best time for reading...or is it winter? spring? autumn? - Okay, all seasons are reading seasons for bookworms;-) That being so, there are few things I enjoy as much as sitting outside in the sun with a good book, and here I have rounded up a summer reading guide, which will have you covered, no matter what genre you crave. I've included mostly new books I am especially looking forward to or have recently read, some oldies but goodies, a few you can read in one sitting and even some classics. Sorry, no romance, erotica or horror, because I would be ill-equipped to recommend books in those genres. My intention was to create a list with a great variety both of books and of authors, so I hope you will find something you might enjoy! Which books are on your to-read list for this summer? Happy reading!
